Watch Out! Beautiful Voice, Beautiful Album

A promising young British talent releases her first album

Sinead Laws is a young, English/French singer based in London with a wonderful singing voice and, as evinced by the songs on her first album, immense talent and a very promising future.

I first became entranced by Sinead’s powerful and captivating singing when I saw her live at a venue close to where I currently live and I have followed her formative career closely and with some affection ever since.

Having been true to her first artistic love from an early age, Sinead has been singing almost the whole of her young life and whether or not she "makes it" and goes on to fame and fortune, she will be singing nevertheless, because she does so for the sheer joy of it.

She fronts the rock-classics covers band TSN and with a voice that, while uniquely her own, reminds one of Janice Joplin or Annie Lennox in quality, power and the ability to really convey from the soul the emotions of a song, does immense justice to the classic songs she performs. As a result she has already built an impressive local fan base.

When not performing live, however, Sinead has been busy composing and recording her own songs and her debut album is now complete and ready for release on August 25th.

It is a very fine first foray into the world of the singer/songwriter/performer and listening to the product of her dedication one can confidently predict that with time and experience this charming and likable young woman’s talent will flower and that even greater artistic works are to come.

The album, entitled "Watch Out!" boasts some very good songs indeed and she handles the softer, more melodious compositions as deftly and well as can belt out the catchy, rocky numbers.

A preview of the album is, as of this writing, still available through her website and I recommend that you pay the site a visit and check it out. (Just click "Watch Out!" in the side bar to find it).

Sinead has a very bright career ahead of her and like those blessed with real artistic talent, deserves our support.

It would be a feather in one’s cap, one day in the future, if one could say "Sinead Laws? Oh yes, I was a fan right there at her early beginnings."
